BBC Showcase is the world's largest international television market hosted by a single distributor. Held annually in Brighton, the event sees 1000s of hours of new British television pitched to foreign broadcasters, and is attended by buyers from more than 100 countries.

As well as new programme screenings the timetable of events includes Showcase Premières, which preview projects currently in production or development. And a full programme of evening entertainment - themed around key titles - provides an opportunity to meet the stars and production teams, as well as mingle with friends and colleagues in an enjoyable but informative and productive atmosphere.

The event is now a must for any international broadcaster, with BBC Worldwide now Europe's largest exporter of television content.

This year the event becomes the first of its kind to go completely digital.  The new "digibooths" at BBC Showcase will offer all buyers a bespoke video-on-demand service, allowing them to give instant feedback on programming they view and significantly improves BBC Worldwide's sales analysis at the event.
